I also brought my erhu (a Chinese violin) for practice, and it wasn’t an issue since there’s no one else living in the building apart from the owners’ photography studio. While I didn’t meet Patricia, I had the pleasure of meeting her husband, Connie. He’s a kind and fascinating gentleman with a unique life story and a real talent for portrait photography. He even gave me a tour of his studio before I left, which was a great experience.

I’m almost certain I’ll return to visit Grasslands again, and I’d love to stay here once more—perhaps even muster the courage to have my portrait taken by such a talented artist!

The hosts, Patricia and her husband Connie were very communicative, and very helpful. I expect I will probably return for another visit. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
Sadly, the Cadillac Tavern was closed at the time of my second visit. This has nothing to do with the rental, but it was a disappointment. Hopefully someone purchases the old hotel and re-opens it soon.

A very down home and laid back feeling in the town. Everything with respect to our stay went very well and there were no issues. We would definitely return for a future visit.
